As a response to many of my fellow actors requests, here it is. Our first on-going weekly ADR/Looping workout. Come learn, cultivate, and hone your Looping skills. We'll be starting with a few targeted looping/improv exercises, and then hopping into the booth to apply what we've just learned. Actors will learn specific looping lingo and performance protocol when on a "hot set".

This workout also serves as a showcase for the Los Angeles Loppers group!

Dubbing ADR!

"Dubbing": Dubbing, mixing, or re-recording is a post-production process used in filmmaking and video production in which additional or supplementary recordings are "mixed" with original production sound to create the finished soundtrack. Can also be referred to as "Lip Syncing" or matching "Lip Flaps" in other countries.

Intro: Dubbing/performing ADR for projects that already have recorded dialog is much different than that of laying down original audio/performances. Come learn the nuances of "Dubbing" and how to avoid the most common tropes actors fall for when auditioning for/working on these projects, with the highly trained, hilarious, and skilled, Michael Orenstein!

The Voxernauts are beyond excited to host Michael's amazing talent and specific acting style. You wont want to miss this workout!

"Performance Capture" Workout!

*Performance Capture (Motion, Facial, Vocal Echoing) is an extremely small, and lucrative niche of the entertainment industry, which actors receive auditions in it's medium all the time, yet the majority don't feel confident in their knowledge of the genre. Come cultivate, learn the terminology, and workout like a pro, to stay in tip-top-audition ready form, once these opportunities arise!

Actors will be given digital characters to bring to life on the spot, in REAL TIME-while wearing a facial capture rig set up, and juggle their performance, direction implementation, and knowledge of the medium. Then, they'll perform their performance a second time, incorporating their movements and nuances.

Come learn what you don't know, and feel confidant once any audition comes your way!

*Limit 10 People.

*This is a WORKOUT, not a CLASS.

"Get into Character" Workout!

*Half character movement, Half voice over workout. Come learn from people actually booking constantly in animation and video games!

Come cultivate, learn, grow, and develop your characters! Flesh them out and utilize what you'll learn to bring more life to your animation, video game, stage/theater, film, television and even audiobook auditions.

We'll start with a few light and simple games to get you warmed up, next put your characters through the grinder-dismantling them, and recalibrating them from the ground up, lastly... Record them and listen to them later, or use the same audio to submit an audition with.

*Limit 10 People. The workout is only $20.
